And what was God's answer to him, " I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal." Have you ever felt alone? Does it seem that know one can understand the condition of your spirit, your soul, or your life. Yet, it's more than that. God where are you? I can't hear you. I can't feel you. Why does it seem that your a million miles away? When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh, my lord, what shall we do?" the servant asked. "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." And Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. When the Arameans surrounded Elisha's camp, his servant thought that they were alone. We are surrounded. No doubt this was a sinking feeling that Elisha's servant was feeling. Have you ever felt alone, surrounded, or isolated? "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." Elisha knew in his spirit that God Was with them. He knew that God would not forsake them. And when Elisha prayed, his servants eyes were opened and he saw what Elisha new by Faith. Do you feel like your alone and surrounded? " Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Let God do what is unseen and then believe that God will accomplish his prefect plan for your life. We are never alone, though we may be surrounded and abandoned in the natural. Jesus said, " ... And lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age." When you feel all alone and can't feel the presence of God, stand on the Word and pray! Heavenly Father, open my eyes to your presence and provision. May the knowledge of your word increase my faith. Holy Spirit give me the power to see the unseen goodness that the Lord has qualified me to share in. Help me to come to the understanding that my brothers and sisters all around the world are going through the same trials and endeavor to live in the assurance and conviction of what I do not see.
