I want you to consider this fact: Jesus Christ Left all His glory in heaven, all the splendor and majesty that was enthroned around Him and came to earth to live a servants life. I would like to ask this question, whom did Jesus serve? Jesus' life of servanthood took Him many places. As I stated above, it brought Him to earth, but where else did this lifestyle lead him? This lifestyle led Him to the Temple in Jerusalem, where He awed the teachers of the law with wisdom from a heavenly perspective. There were many towns and villages in the piece of realestate where Jesus lived. And in these towns and villages he met and established relationships with people of all backgrounds. Fishermen, Tax collecters, a Doctor, and even teachers of the law. This lifestyle even led Him to the highrs court in the land. However, the question still remains, whom did Jesus serve? You see a servants life in this time was a lowly state of existance. A humble and meek life, Yet Jesus is the King of Kings and The Lord of Lords. How could this be? The Darling of heaven a servant? I say to you, yes! A servent. You see, Jesus did not come to be served. He came to serve you and me. If you take the time and read His story, you will find out that not only did he come to serve us. He came to save us. Save us from our sin. Our salvation came to us through the hands of a servant!
